dc.description.abstract
The Social Assistance repeal bill 2020 (National Assembly bill no. 16 of 2020) having been read a first time on 23rd June 2020, was committed to the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social welfare for review and report to the house pursuant to the provisions of the Standing Order 127(1). In summary, the bill seeks to repeal the Social Assistance Act to provide for the enactment and operationalization of the Public Finance Management (Social Assistance) regulations under the Public Finance Management Act no.18 of 2012.
